BC Veglo organizes the Leids Open badminton tournament every year, one of the largest badminton tournaments in Leiden and the surrounding area welcoming up to 160 players from all corners of the country each year. 

In 2025 the Leids Open took place on Saturday March 1st

Classes B (up to 2nd division), C (up to 5th division), and D (up to 7th division) are played.
