BC Veglo has existed since 1957 and is therefore the oldest badminton club in Leiden. The 'Association of Repatriated Leiden and Surroundings' was founded by former Indonesia-goers. More than half a century later, Veglo is the largest association in Leiden.

About half of the members play competitively, the rest play recreationally. If you are between 7 and 18 years old, you are welcome at the youth department of Veglo. We organize a large tournament ourselves every year (Leids Open), but also participate in many tournaments in the region. In addition, various internal tournaments are always organized.

In addition to badminton, the association also organizes various other activities. Think of a club outing at the end of the season, but also dinners, quiz nights and games afternoons.
