Mark Duivesteijn named Honorary Member

After being a member at BC Veglo for 16 years, Mark Duivesteijn will leave the club. Last week was his last night and the Board took the opportunity to present Mark with a Honorary Membership of BC Veglo.

During his first years at BC Veglo, Mark was an active player where he played in the Regional Competition and he was playing several tournaments if a Veglo delegation was present in the players field, our own Leids Open and also at Gluttel in Enschede to name a few. But besides being an active player, he was the club's chairman and after that period, Mark stayed a part of the Veglo Board from the Youth Committee.

Even though Mark stopped playing himself for the last years, he spent the last 10 years being there for our youth members, from giving training to organising the youth camp. Mark committed himself to the youth divisioin with a lot of enhousiasm and energy and therefore we would like to thank you a lot. Hopefully we will see you again soon.
