Team 1 qualifies for Competition Teams Nationals

Team 1 prepared themselves for the qualification tournament between all 5rh division champions of the 2024-2025 season. They were in a group of 3 with 2 other teams, but even though they noted a 5-0 victory twice, the matches were not as easy as it looked as a few 3 game matches were played. After winning in the group phase, they needed to win 1 match in the elimination round. This time the opponents were our fellow Leiden players from BC Leiden. At first, BC Leiden managed to win the mixed double after a thrilling 3 game match. After that, the two singles matches were won by BC Veglo in straight games. Then comes Mens Double, BC Leiden needs to win this match to go to an all deciding 5 match. But after a thrilling 3 game match, it was BC Veglo who won the fourth match and wins with 3-1 against BC Leiden and put themselves in the finals tournament in Zutphen in 2 weeks time.
